Unit 5/6/7 Scriptwriting

Context We were set work which was to individually write our own scripts. This term we did a scriptwriting unit. Being in any term, including a few characters to take part which would entertain the audience with a few of the dialogues. Research Write down all the exercises that: free writing Shenagh set up a excercise of ' free writing ' which let us write about an experience or anything on our mind that we would want to share through speech. ,it helped because we could express ourselves through writing and that to me is a very good skill. Production lessons with Rebecca

In Rebecca's production lessons we would arrive at 1pm and be informed of the work set to complete for that lesson. We would work on computers most times. There would be normal difficulties when using a computer , like for example, passwords not working or computers just running slow. We would have to deal with it but at the end of the day we would complete our goal so everything is still merry. At times we are told to write paragraphs about a topic for example, Clothing, what do clothing designers need , any qualifications, who they work with , how they have to think or act and how they do their jobs. We would learn about different lights that are used in theatres, for instance Profiles, LED stage lights , Side lights etc. We would also have a PSHE lesson afterwards for another hour on a Monday, we've covered County lines and other topics already. I think it's good because its an everyday knowledge which of course everyone would want to have.
